Not sure what part of what I said was "strawman".
The Halo community isn't what it used to be. It's gotten substantially weaker. Fans of the series know this.
Not sure why this is such a cause for debate with you, you don't even play the game, or games in general like that.

It's a different Halo, but closer to halo foundations than halo 4 was.
