Halo 2 is my favorite in the series. It took console online gaming to another level. I still enjoy the maps more than the modern Halo maps.

nikkas had callouts ready for every map. Timing for camo, overshield, rockets, sword, sniper rifles, shotgun...everything.

Yo I remember we was killing some dudes in CTF and we used to do that all the time especially on midship. Dudes was tryna report our accounts for cheating.

But nothing compared to those huge big team battles on Coagulation or Headlong. 8 vs 8 man it felt like a war. Dudes rushing to get the tank. Escorting the flag carrier with a tank and Warthog only to forget to secure rockets and get blasted halfway through the map. When you heard that rocket coming for you while you in yo vehicle and you try to hop out at the last minute

The strategies were endless. We used to have 2 guys camp out on each side of the map. One would grab our sniper and the other would infiltrate and sneak the other teams sniper rifle. That way he had both angles on lock and would pick off guys while we sneaking with the flag.

Yep. Halo 2 multiplayer alone was a system seller and it made the struggling Xbox Live take off. That 50.00 annual fee was worth it.

The campaign sucked but the multi was an all-timer. That and Socom 1 and 2 wasted years of my life

yea they went from Stk to 3D to Final Boss with strongside. i still watch them h2 tourneyson youtube to this day.
