I'm not sure about Universal and Peacock's strategy here but it looks to me that the movie either just doesn't want to compete with the competition in theaters during that same time or they're dropping it on the platform due to the quality of the movie. They'll make a lot off of people who subscribe to Peacock to watch it and then forget to unsubscribe afterwards.
