:hhh:make your own movie then. the fukk we need this in halloween for?
That pathological background screening was not needed. We know Mike is a sick fuk, that was already explored in H2007. and none of us are invested enough into this new character Corey to give a flying 757 shyt. He has zero screen presence. Truth be told, idgaf about Laurie’s granddaughter either. This chick sees her father murdered, her mother murdered, an entire town murked but yet she falls in love with a psycho mass murderer. I’m about to go watch Halloween 2018 so I can further appreciate how much of a catastrophe this last installment is. Going forward if a movie doesn’t have that Blumhouse, A24, Wan, stamp on it - im not watching

Green said that in crafting the latest trilogy’s closer, the question was, “How do we make it not just a nice, neat bow on a franchise?,” adding: “we never once considered making a Laurie [Strode] and Michael [Myers] movie. The concept that it should be a final showdown-type brawl never even crossed our minds.”

Instead, Green set out to tell a “love story” — between Laurie’s granddaughter Alyson (played by Andi Matichak) and Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), a babysitter wrongly blamed and then ostracized for the death of a kid he was watching — and in doing so explore “what can create the psychopath, without having to go into a Michael Myers psychological backstory.”

Love story??!! Wtf! Really, this is the bullshyt conclusion that this idiot thought we wanted to see ??

It’s hilarious when these red flag interviews pop up after a project drops and bombs. After the wave of critic panning passes on by. The directors always be saying some shyt that makes me question why they took over the project to begin with when they don’t know what they’re doing. Happened with D&D after the Game of Thrones finale, and most recently Waititi post-Thor L&T. :mjlol:

I’m fine with them trying new things, but let’s also not destroy the essence of what made the original Halloween timeline so great.

They turned this franchise it a shell of its former self.

First of all, why would Mike be hiding in an underground cave for 4 years like he’s an extra creature from The Descent movie,

So many questions that I don’t care about anymore.

Secondly, why did this movie seem like it was written by 20 different people, in 20 different locations and somebody forgot to save the script in a DMS

This dyckhead Corey got bullied by a group of band kids but laid Michael out. 😭

Then the part about Laurie being a grandma and forgetting about Michael even though for the past 50 years that’s been her primary purpose. (And lmao at reading articles that Laurie (Jamie) was being a bytch behind the scenes and talking wild about cast members😭)

As a huge fan of the Halloween franchise, I fukkin enjoyed this film (Ends). It was bold and took things into a different direction, yet kept true to the mythos. After hearing negative reviews I was a little skeptical about the film, but it surprised me. It was basically Old Man Michael meets Halloween: The Next Generation.

The kills delivered and there’s a good amount of gore. After coming off the killfest from the previous film, it would be hard to top it. I was satisfied with what we got. :ehh:

A fitting end for JLC. It’s the end of an era. :mjcry:

I appreciate the direction the filmmakers took it. I honestly don’t know why any real fan of the saga would dislike it, especially if they praised the previous 2. :ld:
