For me it's Halloween> Nightmare on Elm Street > Friday the 13th.

But they're all classic movies with iconic villains.

Not sure anyone caught this from ShockTillYouDrop's site a couple months back, but :jbhmm:

Halloween Returns is said to be a standalone movie in the franchise that will introduce younger audiences inexperienced with classic horror to Michael Myers. The story will pick up years after his first reign of terror and will introduce a new cast of young Haddonfieldians to the man behind the mask. One of the characters playing a central role will be the 18-year-old child of one of Myers' victims, while another will be the child of a cop obsessed with the mad man's case. He's so obsessed, in fact, that he puts it before his own daughter. The plot sees Myers now on death row, and these two kids sneak themselves into the facility to watch his execution. Of course, things go wrong and Myers escapes, which puts the kids and their friends in the midst of his rampage.

The Director of the Collector is Co-Writing and Directing the movie :whoo:

Only shyt is...is half the movie gonna be in a Prison Ward running from Mike? Not sure I'm geeked about that:francis:. They also gotta have Mike looking like a normal guy again and not one of the members of the Dungeon of Doom.

Horror movies in general are wack. That is why movie studios gemeral give up and coming directors those movies to direct, just to see how well they are

There's bad movies in every genre. The thing with Horror films is they sell almost all the time and don't have the budgets most of the time like big Hollywood films and almost always turn over profits (hence the sequels). Of course there's gonna be wack Horror movies but in recent years there's been some really solid Horror movies (The Conjuring, Babadook, etc).

Agreed 100% with title. Michael Myers as a character was very interesting with him being the entity of pure evil. Friday the 13th just got worse and worse. And Jason soon becoming nothing more than a silly undead killer. Freddy to me has always been meh. Myers just always had a chilling and mysterious theme to him.
