If Nightmare had an identifying theme, it'd be better than Halloween. I think Friday is mostly garbage. Halloween, I love the OG and whatever one had his niece - 4 I think. The remake was actually OK, but not needed. Halloween is the best of the 3 in creating that suspense, almost Hitchcock-esque. I could never get into the B-movie style of Friday. I couldn't even remember names, and then the one with the telekinectic chick SMH. Nightmare did the best in developing their villain though. In each movie, Freddy got stronger and they told you why.

I love everything about what u said, minus the love u have to that shytty remake. Rob Zombie fukked it all up with 2 hours of bullshyt followed by remaking Halloween II.

CTHU All I know is that I had it on, was actually watching it and did not for once turn it off. That counts as OK to me lol. If I can find it, I'll put it on now

Nightmare does have an identifying theme. 2 of them actually. It's the little girls singing. and it's this.

Nope....:shaq2:

He just killed em, never fukked em....:smugfavre:

The remake fukked this up and made him a molester instead of just a killer.

It's a subtle difference, but it actually makes the original character far more cerebral. We know that people kidnap, rape, and kill children, it happens all the time. Just kidnapping and killing is a...particular type of pathology.

it was actually a part of the original script and storyline but they took out most of the references because of some shyt in the headlines close to release. i thought the remake was going to fix this and make it better but they fukked that up in lots of ways.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
The OG Halloween is one of the best Horror films ever made. You see no blood at all and the suspense is what made the movie more than the actual kills. Halloween also ushered in the modern day slasher movie, though I wouldn't technically consider Halloween a slasher movie more than a Suspense Thriller.

I love Friday and Nightmare in their own right, but Halloween :sadcam:

the reason why Halloween so dope was because there was no back story as to why he started killing. They tried to make up some half ass reason in the curse of Michael Myers but it didn't make sense. That's why The Ring is a classic as well. You never knew why that girl was who she was and did what she did. All you knew is that it would never stop :lupe:
