"rusty" Jordan 1995 playoffs
31.5/6.5/4.5 /2.3 steals/1.4 blocks on 57% T/S

"back to his old self" Jordan 1996 Playoffs

30.7/4.9/4.1/1.4/0.3 on a 56% T/S

:russ: better across the board and more efficient then the 96',97,98' Playoffs

Yea the same Hornet team that had Larry "Grandma'ma" and Alonzo Mourning :troll: scrub team right?

Then you would also be talking about the same Hornet team that missed the playoffs completely the previous season, then traded Zo the next year and missed the playoffs that year too. Yeah.

Jordan split up the Magic too. :russ:

Right because of course it's all about numbers and has nothing to do with when and where those numbers were recorded. The 96 Bulls were the best team ever. You're posting individual stats out of context to prove what exactly? You sound ridiculous. You and buddy gotta be trolling.

Hakeem is one of my favorites and he can say what he wants, but I like the way the NBA is now.

From what I can tell with my eyes, the league has been watered down for years where you have 1 really good player on the team and the rest are average or bummy and they never really go anywhere (Tracey McGrady on the Rockets, KG on the Wolves and so on).

It's really good to see teams who are multi talented with a roster from A-Z. Even though it would never happen, the league needs to cut down to half the size that it already is and get more of this.

Point being, Jordan was playing at a high level when they got bumped.

That double nickle he dropped in MSG came with him wearing #45

:stopitslime:Mourning was traded after they lost to the Bulls. He played with MIA the season the Hornets missed the Playoffs but nice try:skip:

I only here the "not about numbers" speech when they don't Favor the person in question. Those are the facts, Jordan didn't have some epiphany in 96' that made him play better,(he actually played worse)the team got Rodman Fared better inside and beat The magic in 96'. But him being "rusty" in 95' had nothing to do with it. That series in 95' was close as hell anyway and could've gone either way

LeBron James has been playing at a high level most of his career. This year he took it to another level even though his numbers look the same. You can't deny he was a much better player this year than in the past. The numbers don't really show that.

Of course Jordan was gonna get off. Jordan always gets off. He used to score a lot more as a youngin and still lost but no one would argue that 23 year old Mike was better than 31 year old Mike. He was impacting the game in an entirely different way.

I think having better teammates helped.

The main reason the Bulls got bumped had nothing to do with Jordan "just coming back" like some said. Had more to do with Ho Grant not being there and the Bulls having a void at PF one year. That's my point.

The "Jordan wasn't in shape/just came back" angle is pure bullshyt. Jordan was Jordan. Teammates matter. Same with Clyde mattering for the Rockets.

If you actually "watched" Jordan during both playoff runs you would note how stupid this post actually was.

I'll let nick anderson educate you on if that was Michael Jordan or not.

Back to my LeBron example, it could be argued he had less help this year than last year. Bosh was hurt, Wade was hurt. Bron's numbers were the same but his impact was far greater.

You can't deny that Michael Jordan only playing 21 games in 2 years prior to that series had some sort of bearing on the outcome.

Jordan was Jordan.

They missed Horace. That steal wouldn't have been null and void if they had a PF that year. There wouldn't have been a close game.
