Yep, the ignorant ass Jamaicans do look down on Rastafarians and have even persecuted them in the past. The same ignorant ass Jamaicans who thank their white god that the earthquake didn't hit the island but hit Haiti instead. :smh: I don't have the time to get into it now, but they have a lot to thank the Rastafari movement for. A lot.

For non caribbeans, Mutabaruka's patois is really heavy, however I'm gonna post this video where he drops some fiyah and gets into this a lot more:

It's probably because most Rastafarian smoke weed all day and refuse to work. They're a drain on society and look like unpolished shyt too.

That is partially true, and back in the decades beyond they came from slums and lower class areas.. This is here the movement preached upon to make the movement become bigger.. It's still small though between 1 and 5% of the land so still minorities, if you lo listen to the music you still hear the struggle in how they are looked down on or can't get a job because how they look and what they believe

There is some truth to that. The "true rastas" live off the land and they don't want have anything to do with technology whatsoever and they look down on the people that wear the hairstyle, but aren't true to the rasta way of life.

Muta has an interesting take on rastafarianism and particularly selassie... However selassie was a christian and some might say mason and that's why they crowned him.

You'll have a hard time getting any rasta to explain their doctrine logically but they stand for black power and 'Jah' living in the hearts of all flesh so I endorse them given black people's current oppression..... even if selassie only serves as a symbol for a black empowerment

The universe is so complex that I highly doubt its creator would place its message in any scroll, writing books is something man does

But life is life and consciousness must mean you're connected to the creator - religions have good lessons but the whole picture is too complex to be explained with words ... as you can tell from my ramblings in this post

Holy Immanuel I :ld:
