that's not what i was referring too. im not disagree or agree your point. im saying they will be happy with any black women representation even if the show depict them/or they ppl in the wrong light probably because its barely any black representation on the telly in america and cross the pond

Even when it isn't, it's still considered "too black" for the mainstream movie audience if there are more than two black people in the main cast.

I knew this was too good to be true. It's literally impossible to make a black movie in this age that doesn't pander to white people in some way shape or form. It's actually insulting to black people that this is the way of the walk now.

I guess I'll have to stick with 90s black cinema and prior cause I'm sick and tired of the market for black film being dominated by madea goes to ______ movies, endless slave movies where somehow the white people are the protagonists, endless swirling movies, black people overcome adversity through sports/dance/music movies and other tripe with white savior complexes.
