Two plates is usually understood to be 225 lbs 4 plates and the barTo everyone saying two plates, don't they come in different weights or I'm I missing something here. There's 5kg,10kg,20kg,50kg etc plates

there’s nothing special about 225 other than it being easy to count to with weights since the bar is the same weight as the largest weights in most gyms

I can get up 225 8 to 10x, I weigh 230 and I do more cardio than lifting

i forgot the weight im benching since i stopped going to the gym late last year but ever since i have maintained a small work out routine, which includes. 50 knuckle push ups minimum a day. it helps, i think i got some steady arms especially forearms like popeye forearms.

I think any full grown man who can rep 2 plates (225lbs) is something to be proud of. Its not like they hopped outta bed benching that much, they had to train to get to that point. I go to the gym everyday, and most people are not high repping 225. They just arent
For me personally, I rep 3 plates (315lbs) in sets of 12-14 and when i'm getting down to sets of 4-6 i'm at 375.
My goal is to 3-rep max 405 before the end of the year. I'll put that on video if i can do it.
