I don’t know what’s going on with the internet where people pretend older generations didn’t struggle just because things were a lower cost
it has never been "fine", but in the past there were enough white people being lifted up from poverty with government money to buy reasonably priced homes and tuitions that it made people feel like things were "fair". those days are completely over. now we dont even have the illusion of fairness. we just have naked neofeudalism.

He’s not being a contrarian

He doesn’t know what he is talking about and is as foolish as a Republican who votes for any Republican candidate because they are Republican against a Dem.

If the same metrics were under a Republican candidate, he would say the economy was shyt.
The economy wouldn’t feel the same under a Republican president.

Instead of the chip, Inflation reduction or American rescue plan a Republican would’ve have passed tax cuts for the wealthy like we saw in 2016.

College has cost a lot for decades and it’s still a good deal compared to the alternative.

Back then, people would buy a house in any neighborhood to start and people weren’t scared of foreclosures or ok neighborhoods

Now we have a bunch people thinking that downtown high rises and neighborhoods in wealthy zip codes should be “affordable”

And people felt that this stuff was unattainable back then as well

I’m having flashbacks of 2016…

Watching folks argue against polls and overwhelming narratives is frustrating.

Of course there is still a lot of time to course correct if you buy into an accurate reading of the situation. L

Crazy seeing people ask for the same policies back that put us in this position
It’s been the cycle of US elections since i’ve been alive.

Republicans get in office fukk up the economy, Democrat gets in and spends their tenure trying to fix the shyt, then they get blamed for the recovery not feeling good, so the republicans get back in office an re fukk it up.

Republican voters are the single greatest hinderance to the prosperity of the American people. They are so stuck on hating the other side they continually let these clowns run the economy into shyt :smh:

I don't think it’s Biden‘s fault but Food Inflation is wild. Inflation in general is wild out here taking everybody's money.
