Like did he forget the part where the economy tanked and we handled a national crisis in the worst way possible :heh:

Americans are the dumbest humans on the planet. Not close either

Once you've worked overseas as much as I have, you realize this sadly isn't true. People in a lot of countries are dumb as fukk.

Ferdinand Marcos made himself dictator of the Philippines, was horrifically brutal, murdered his opposition, stole something like $20 billion directly from the people, declared martial law for the last ten years of his reign, and pushed the nation into economic collapse. He was finally forced out by a massive nonviolent people's movement where over two million Filipinos took to the streets to block his palace. Marcos ordered the military to fire on the protestors, they refused, and his family was forced to flee - of course, taking the billions he stole with them.

One of the worst of his family members was his son, Bongbong, who has been connected to numerous financial crimes as well as extrajudicial killings and who urged his father to bomb civilians during martial law. After fleeing, Bongbong defied multiple court orders to pay restitution to the victims of his actions, was indicted several times for tax fraud, and repeated dropped out or failed out of every college program he attempted (then lied afterwards and claimed he graduated).

Bongbong was just elected president in a landslide.....because he ran a good social media campaign where he basically just said none of that shyt happened. :snoop:

I know dozens of stories like that now. Especially with the power that rich people hold to influence social media, I'm struggling to have much faith in the future of democracy. :francis:

im not though...
I just dont d ride the left

its all a joke

some of yall are so far gone you dont realize youre the lefts version of the crazy right wing person that only looks at negative news about the left

:mjlol:

Breh, you are constantly pushing right-wing cliches and talking points.

You tried to defend Republicans from allegations of racism and said Trump doesn't actually try to attract White Nationalists, it just looks that way. You big-upped Candace Owens cause she was going at BLM, and said all her anti-black bullshyt doesn't matter to you cause you don't care about those other issues. You claimed in 2020 that there was no reason for people to vote Trump out of office. You bytch about Lebron discussing "lightweight American racism" but not bringing the same heat to China. You repeatedly downplayed Covid with right-wing talking points. You push hard-right pro-capitalism cliches and talking points. And you openly shyt on Black American culture.

And I didn't even do a search, that's solely just the conversations we've had.

I'm glad that you at least still realize that being conservative is a bad thing. I just wish you realized that most of the actual conservative shyt you openly do is also bad.

You're doing it again. You're taking what is openly a limited sample not reflective of the whole, and using it to deny the whole.

Those articles are spread out from February to September. Sources are Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Forbes, CNN, and CBS.

We can go back and forth with links but let's be honest if inflation isnt defeated how in the blue hell has rent stayed flat for two years? Ain't no damn way.

Supply and demand. High prices led to the biggest surge in new room availability in the last 50 years, and so they outstripped demand.

Now, you started out by claiming that rent had doubled during Biden's term. Are you willing to qualify that statement yet? Want to give us a more accurate number based on actual data?

we did not have more money then. the problem is biden is not doing anything about these migrants, student loans are back next month, and he is giving a never ending flow of resources to ukraine. regular people dont think he cares about regular people's problems
The Ukraine thing is a red herring. They’re getting peanuts on the national scale and in return we’re seeing Russia being dismantled from the inside and out. It’s like paying a bum $1000 to murk the guy whose been robbing your house every time you’re on vacation. We’re getting 10-to-1 on arming them.

This is the same Russia that’s been dedicating resources to all their social media propaganda campaigns. 2024 is going to look a lot different without all the Russian bots and Republicans working with them.

The migrant stuff is so weird to me. I’m affected in no way shape or form by migrants
Or us giving weapons to Ukraine(which from an ideological standpoint I’m against fwiw)

Folks money going to Ukraine isn’t what’s stopping you from getting ur student loans cancelled republicans are what’s stopping you from getting ur student loans cancelled FULL STOP

My life is definitely negatively affected by white supremacists in positions of power in the government. I mean I really don’t get the whining about migrants and Ukraine other than people are too online and have no real beliefs of their own so right wing media steps in to shape those beliefs

i bring that up because that is what i hear from the black solid democrat voters that i know. it's the same thing i hear when the subject of migrants in chicago is brought up; people say that the government cant afford to help "chiraq" until people from another country show up. average voters are used to being told there is no feasible way to solve the more intractable problems in their lives, then they see immediate and seemingly unending expenditures for other people. it doesnt really matter what the explanation is, this is how rank and file american voters - especially black ones - are conditioned to think. i think democrats better address this sentiment if they want high turnout

As someone who lives in a city with a dramatic increase in the rent and homeless population yeah lots of people have been priced out of renting homes/apartments in Florida

I get it’s isolated to one state but red states are driving this shyt

That graph stops right after year-over-year rents peaked and ignores the entire period of declines. You see that massive downward trend in rent increases that had just crossed into the negative....in April? So what do you think kept happening in May, June, July, August, and September?

And even as of May, you're only showing a 20% increase in rent from the end of Trump's term, while you claimed rent had doubled. And we know from my other links that rent continued to drop DOWN after that. So why do you think that graph supports your bs claim?
