im not sure what point you are trying to dispute, what i said is that when the europeans went to africa they were more advanced and that is why the africans lost, what about that statement is it that you are disputing?

regardless of where or how the europeans got more advanced the point is at the point in time in the 1400-1500's when they started sailing to africa they had become more advanced in terms of technology and that gave them a huge advantage

the where and how the europeans became more advanced is an open question but the fact that they were more advanced is not up for dispute

The ancient African's were simply " anti Academic" plus they weren't speaking proper English...

explain exactly how they were more "technologicilly" advanced, the only reason why europeans successfully enslaved majority of southern africans was because they used the technique devide and conquer.

Guns, ships and literacy were the main technologies that the european had and the africans lacked

and the europeans never enslaved southern africans, they enslaved west africans, they did conquer the rest of africa with guns tho

It was always weird to me when black people were the ones perpetuating and feeding into lies.... I never assumed that could be the case amongst educated people. :yeshrug:

Early Egyptians knew how to assemble planks of wood into a ship hull as early as 3000 BC.

In the 14th century CE King Abubakari II, the brother of King Mansa Musa of the Mali Empire is thought to have had a great armada of ships sitting on the coast of West Africa.

Carthage's fleet included large numbers of quadriremes and quinqueremes, warships with four and five ranks of rowers. Its ships dominated the Mediterranean. The Romans however were masters at copying and adapting the technology of other peoples. According to Polybius, the Romans seized a shipwrecked Carthaginian warship, and used it as a blueprint for a massive naval build-up, adding their own refinement – the corvus – which allowed an enemy vessel to be "gripped" and boarded for hand-to-hand fighting. This negated initially superior Carthaginian seamanship and ships.

amous African trade ports such as Mombasa, Zanzibar, Mogadishu and Kilwa[103] were known to Chinese sailors such as Zheng He and medieval Islamic historians such as the Berber Islamic voyager Abu Abdullah ibn Battuta

Africans were sending Giraffes n shyt to China in the 1400's.... Only a fool believes that they hadn't been sailing around Asia for over 1000K years prior....

The Lebombo bone is the oldest known mathematical artifact. It dates from 35,000 BCE - I'm sure they didn't even build on this shyt from over 30K BCE...

And the Ancient Asian ships.....to deny those travels and technology is just :wow:

Although numerous naval battles took place before the 12th century, such as the large-scale Three Kingdoms Battle of Chibi in the year 208, it was during the Song Dynasty (960–1279 AD) that the Chinese established a permanent, standing navy in 1132 AD

The significant change that distinguished Medieval warfare to early Modern warfare was the use of gunpowder weaponry in battle. A 10th-century silken banner from Dunhuang portrays the first artistic depiction of a fire lance, a prototype of the gun.[84] The Wujing Zongyao military manuscript of 1044 listed the first known written formulas for gunpowder, meant for light-weight bombs lobbed from catapults or thrown down from defenders behind city walls

They had ships and MADDDDDD technology before then , but I just like to point out this fact because non-ignorant fools can pick up the significance.

The Atlantic slave trade or transatlantic slave trade took place across the Atlantic Ocean from the 16th through to the 19th centuries. :stopitslime:

With the expansion of Islam in the Middle Ages, North Africa was culturally cut off from non-Muslim Europe. The Islamic Empire created a barrier between Europe and the rest of the world, with European traders paying heavy tributes to obtain prized commodities like West African gold, East Asian spices and silk. The Italian republics of Venice and Genoa, among others, specialized in this trade.:patrice:

In addition, the Jews of modern Spain, Portugal, and Morocco were allowed to trade in both cultural regions.:comeon: ( I bet)

Portuguese colonization of some parts of Africa would have a very negative impact in some of the existing civilizations. By 1583, they had destroyed the Afro-Muslim Zendj civilization of East Africa that competed with them for the African trade. Two other important African kingdoms, the Kongo and the Monomotapa, would also be destroyed by the Portuguese conquerors.:mindblown:

the african slave trade happened in west africa in the 1400's and 1500's, what you have to do is show that west africans had better technology than the europeans that came to their shores

its that simple, if you cannot show that then you have no point

there is no connection between egypt, carthage, china and west africa by the 1400's and any technological advances had been lost by the time the europeans came in

the portuguese and spanish came with gunpowder and ships, what did the yoruba, igbo, and the akan have to compete with that? that is what you have to explain

does carthage having ships mean that the yoruba had ships? does the egyptians building pyramids mean that the igbo could protect themselves from guns? what the fuk kinda logic is that? you're a fukin clown

lol, don't be upset. You don't have to cuss all the time either.

You stated "Guns, ships and literacy were the main technologies that the european had and the africans lacked" . If you or anyone else would like go with that idea then it's ok - not the end of the world.

Peace.

yeah by the time the europeans came to africa in the 1400's any technological advantage the africans had was gone

you brought up the egyptians that lived 7000 years ago, you brought up the cathaginians who were from north africa and were defeated by the romans and whos capital was razed to the ground in 146 BC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Carthage_(c._149_BC) 1400 years before the atlantic slave trade, you dont seem to have a sense of time scale

the African trade ports such as Mombasa, Zanzibar, Mogadishu and Kilwa[103] were also slave trading ports were millions of african were sent into slavery by arabs and muslims

and i have no idea what the hell china has to do with anythinghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilwa_Kisiwani

none of what you are saying changes the fact that when europeans came with their ships to africa they were more technologically advanced, posting info about china, carthage or egypt doesnt prove that the yoruba, igbo, zulus and akhan that europeans encountered were equally advanced

what you are saying makes no sense
