This just won the Golden Lion at Venice. Looks like Del Toro really got another classic to put besides Pan's Labyrinth.:wow:

I remember all the hype Pan got, went to see it excited and fell asleep.
This man is so hit and miss and his popcorn fare is better than his "artistic" dramatic work.

You really prefer Pacific Rim to The Devil's Backbone??
No I don't like Pacific Rim, but I like Blade 2 and hellboy 1 and Hellboy 2 than Pan and Devil's Backbone Mimic and Crimson Peak.
Like I said I think he is very hit and miss. A bit like Alex Proyas

The glowing reviews from TIFF the past few days are gonna make these a REALLY long 3 months.

Calling it his masterpiece and one of the best love stories of the past decade :wow:
