another 5 minute look, no spoilers, just talks about where the characters are from and stuff. thanos doe this is gonna be the best marvel flick

I dunno, it kinda bothers me that all the aliens in the movie (besides Rocket and Groot) look like humans in make-up (or at best, human-like). They could've invested more in showing some diversity to the Marvel cosmos.

They're fairly spot on with all the appearances based on the Marvel Cosmic Universe tho, so I dunno why that'd be an issue, brotha.

If you're gonna come with some dumb ass complaints like that know what you're talking about.

1. The Brood rights are most likely with Fox since they were first a X-Man enemy.

2. Once again, Fox, because WARLOCK IS A fukkING XMAN. Do you even know who these people are?

3. That's Annihilus. I mean, he's mostly humanoid looking so I don't even think that helps your argument. And he's one of the biggest bad guys in the cosmic universe. He had fukking Thanos shook and working for him and was draining goddamn Galactus's power like he was a battery. He rules the entire Negative Zone. If GOTG does well, I think you'd expect to see him as the lead baddie in a sequel or what not. He's not someone they'd just throw in there. Annihilation is probably my favorite cosmic story and its a huge fukking event. They'd have to cover all sorts of shyt and the Negative Zone then introduce Richard Rider and the Kree and Skrulls and thered be so many fukking people running around you wouldn't know wtf is going on. Oh wait you already don't.

4. You're asking me why Beta Ray Bill, a character who is dressed like Thor and on the cover of a Thor comic isn't a major character and introduced in this movie?

My prediction. It will be as good as Captain America 2. Probably make a little less because no one really gets the characters. But the first couple of weeks it is out, it will be hot.

It has a couple of things going for it.
1. Aimed directly at young male (14-25) demographic- (It has stars from, the Hangover, WWE, and Fast and Furious)
2. Marvel is opening up their Universe (Think Marvel Star Wars...for the comic nerds)
3. It's at the end of the Summer. (No other competition in August) It will be the only movie to see.
4. Casual movie goers have no idea what the hell it is about.
5. The Marvel movie brand will give it legs coming off Captain America 2, people will go see this.

I personally would not have dropped a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Risky as hell, but they know what they are doing so we will see. I would have put out a movie that would hype up the next Avengers movie. But this should be good, I'm excited because honestly even with the trailers it's still not clear what is going on. I think Marvel has something sneaky in store for us.

Speaking of Annihilation I think they will build towards that story eventually but first they going to do the Infinity Gauntlet.

If it does well overseas maybe. But I think we are all underestimating it being released in August with NO other competition. Like off the top of my head I can't even think of any other movies being released in August. That would give them a good two to three weeks just to ramp up the selling of the movie. (Talk TV shows, Entertainment tv show) there is literally nothing going on in August, it's a dead zone movie month. If Marvel does it right and it appeals to a larger audience, overseas it could match the US number. I just like the fact that there is no real hype for this movie. The trailer introduces you to the characters but no real story. (Those are elements for a surprise hit). Now if it fails, we still have Avengers 2 on deck. lol
