You are a pea brain and I'm going to keep reminding you of that.

If there is unemployment in Switzerland at 3%, and it is 7.8% in America, which country has a larger percentage of the population recieving money for not working? It's clearly America, therefore America is more socialist because less people are working and more people are receiving welfare/foodstamps/unemployment. See how stupid your logic is? When you don't understand what socialism is, you can make all kinds of accusations that are not based in fact or reality.
I actually agree, America is more socialist, maybe not as blatantly as the Swiss, but we are. I think we are fraudulent in how Capitalistic we are, we're more Corporatist, and more socialist if anything.

I was talking more about how blatantly Socialistic this idea is. It's Socialism, and it's flawed. We're not that blatant here. Nonetheless, I can atleast respect the Swiss' economy more than ours. I can even respect this idea more than anything we'be done recently, but I think it's a certain road to doom.

I don't know why people hate capitalism
Capitalism has winners and losers and bleeding hearts don't want anyone to lose...

There is also some belief that things were better of more favorable before capitalism, and that capitalism has made things worse. When in fact the complete opposite is true, and children don't have to work in factories because of capitalism.

:patrice: Why does their government work so well.
Scale, and neutrality.

socialism.

im aware switzerland is not in the EU..

So...one non-EU country has an idea for its economy, and you find a way to "link" that idea with 28 other individual economies, ranging from Cyprus to Estonia?

Take shortcuts brehs

"A society that puts equality — in the sense of equality of outcome — ahead of freedom will end up with neither equality nor freedom. The use of force to achieve equality will destroy freedom, and the force, introduced for good purposes, will end up in the hands of people who use it to promote their own interests." (Milton Friedman)

What Switzerland has done is created a floor but no ceiling has been made. There is still a rich, middle, and lower income class. Your quote is irrelevant to this thread, ironically, it can be used to put the capitalism demonstrated in the USA in a greater context, where faux oligarchs plot to seep the last shred of wealth from the middle class. An ostentatiously wealthy 1 percent hoards 99 of the countries wealth. Great freedom there. A bigger scam than the lottery. YOU TOO CAN BE A PART OF THE ONE PERCENT IF YOU SLAVE AND WORK INSANE AMOUNT OF HOURS FOR 50 YEARS, AMASSING YOUR OVERLORDS EVEN MORE WEALTH, YOU TOO!
