I'm not modifying my .exe
i remove the splash screens from just about every game i play.
I haven't crashed yet on my PC. Not really taxing it heavy graphically either.
He's been building NASA super computers for so long I just assume he's going to have an issue SOMEWHERE.

I just turned everything on the first night to see what performance would be like. It's all good now

me too, if it's something as simple as adding "-nosplash" or deleting/renaming a video file. but I'm not tryin to get banned for playing with a modded .exe
Wow, if any of you guys are using Radeonpro to limit your fr to 60fps with triple buffering, disable it to improve your performance. I was getting strange dips in the most weirdest places so I decided to play without it and I did the standard performance intensive check:
Director Mode>Paleto Bay>Sunset/Clear weather/five star status and I drove through the grassy areas where all the sunlight and action is and my framerate didn't even drop below 55fps whereas earlier I did the exact same thing and I was getting dips to the 40's and 30's with the exact same testing. The only problem is without Radeonpro it's 59fps but I can live with that. My settings were everything on very high except for Shadows, Grass(High) and Post FX(high). I think I can crank up the settings and still get better performance without radeonpro. I'm going to test even more when I get home.
Edit: Scratch that.. I'm trying it right now with Radeonpro and my performance is still better...
