I can barely run this at 30FPS 1080p everything on Very High :to:
What are your PC specs?

I'm rocking an i5-4670k and GTX 780....

I got everything running on Very High, MSAA x2, sharp shadows, in 1200p with 50-60 fps...
The only advanced options I use are high resolution shadows and details while flying...

You want to disable vsync and AF ingame and enable them through NVIDIA/Radeon control panel...This will tax your hardware less...Also I have no idea why this works, but minimizing the game as soon as it loads you ingame and then maxmizing it again stabilizes fps...

Uhh, this game is really optimized. Not being able to max a game out and get perfect 60fps at 4K doesn't mean it's unoptimized, it means the game really scales well.
I don't know fam..dude has 2 Titan X's and can't get a steady 60 on max settings at 1080p...and he has the best cards on the market...12gb of vram...that sounds kinda crazy to me that he's getting drops at all with that system...

Something is wrong with his system or game setup. The game should be virtually locked at 60fps on SLI Titan X at 1080P. Hell, he should get 60fps at 4K on his sytem with slight dips in the countryside since the grass and other extra settings are really taxing.

Benchmarks has been done with this game at 4k/Max settings and these are the results.

One Titan X at 4K is pretty good.

Sounds like a driver issue or something else. I'm getting 40-60fps at 1440P on a 3GB R9 280/i5 4690K. This is a great port coming from GTA IV.

Also there's this bug where the fps will drop but once you change a setting back and forth it will fix itself. I walked outside Franklin's house and my framerate dropped to 30.. I changed shadows to high and then back to very high and it fixed itself to 60fps again. :yehshrug:

that fixes v-sync. triple-buffering doesn't work until you do that. hitting alt-enter twice also works (that switches it to windowed mode, and then back to fullscreen)

I had all three AAs on. Your benchmarks don't have any on. And there are dips into the 20s there, so...

I hope nothing is wrong with my system. I'll do testing tomorrow at higher resolutions. Hopefully it's not the z97 pcie 3 8 x 8 issue I was worried about. :sadcam:
