I can't wait to try this out on my new rig

This week....

It should run like a dream.

It runs very good on my rig:
I5-4690K OC'd to 4.3GHZ
3GB Radeon R9 280 OC
8GB DDR3 Win 8.1 64 bit

I'm running it at high/very high settings at 1080P/60fps.. I keep tinkering with certain settings randomly though.


Only thing is the game might have some weird crashes or some settings may appear to bog down the framerate unless you switch it back and forth. I've been just playing around with this game for the past couple of days. shyt is fukking fun as hell. I'm not even doing anything but driving and walking and randomly attacking people. I barely did any story missions(I played most of em from the PS3 version) and online I barely did anything in it too. Director mode is so fun.

It's a long shot, but I'm hoping to run this at 6K with some settings turned down. If not, I'll go 3K

Jesus on my lowly 260x and i5 I get over 100fps on normal. High I still get higher than 60.

This video is excellent. You can really see the differences between the different settings. I'm so mad because Grass on high is beautiful but that shyt drops my frames by like 5-15fps from 60. It looks damn good though..

I tried maxing the game out on my rig and it's still playable .

I get like 30-40fps in the city but once you hit an area with lots of foliage and grass that's where it brings your system down it's knees and make you suck it's dikk. That Ultra grass setting is

this game's graphics maxed out. I can't imagine how good it looks at 4K/60fps maxed out
Maxed out settings(Ignore the 120fps counter. Radeonpro is showing double the fps for some odd reason.) I had fraps running in my other shots so the framerate there is correct(30-40fps)

Once you know what to look for in the maxed out settings, you start to really appreciate the options. Literally the only options here that are negligible in terms of differences between normal and ultra are reflection MSAA and Water quality. This game's AA solution's performance per visuals ratio is kind of off. There's still far too much shimmering. I guess at 4K+ it's less noticeable.

I just switch it to 4K when I take a screenshot

I actually get around 30fps at 4K, but the stuttering is bad. probably because I'm using way too much video memory
