GTA 3 is one of the most overrated games ever

neither had an amazing story

The Additions Combo system from LoD automatically makes it better than ff7 from a gameplay perspective

and it had better locales(pre rendered backgrounds) enemy designs and overall graphics but that is once again due to the fact that it dropped at the end of the ps1 era

and haschel > every character from ff7

I thought it was just decent personally

Has similar mechanics to 3 while I haven't played it in it's entirety I know it doesn't have turf wars or San andreas' superior aiming. Ultimately I'll have to beat it to dispute this. But 90s LA> 80s Miami... a majority black cast also helped.

Author of the article should kill himself. GTAIII is more playable than 90% of the games today. Will always be in the top-10 GOAT games ever. Keep in mind there would BE NO Vice City, San Andrea, IV, or V if GTAIII hadn't first shown what that engine could do.
