its really not a great game but it deserves the praise for its impact at the time 
its basically like ff7 on ps1. both were the first in their respective series to go 3d and it completely changed their genres forever. but neither were the best of their genres in their console generations

nah but legend of dragoon was a better jrpg than ff7(but it did drop towards the end of the ps1 lifespan)

Technically it isn't the best GTA but for what it was at the time and how groundbreaking it was, it's the best GTA IMO. No other GTA makes me feel so nostalgic.

I loved Lazlo mannnnn, this eish was funny as fukk to me when I played it. The rap station was only 15 mins but the music just went well with the city and gameplay, Royce da 5'9 tracks on there

neither had an amazing story
The Additions Combo system from LoD automatically makes it better than ff7 from a gameplay perspective
and it had better locales(pre rendered backgrounds) enemy designs and overall graphics but that is once again due to the fact that it dropped at the end of the ps1 era
and haschel > every character from ff7
