All these postings stemmed from a post (that was cosigned by Blessup) in another thread that said Blacks in the Americas are not Africans and descend from an aboriginal Black group native to the Americas. No one in here denied that Africans had been in the Americas prior to Europeans
Ok well if you have proof of "asians" looking like that in Asia, is it safe to say the negros in america looked similar? Black/brown skin, nappy hair, thick lips/full nose, etc. Those are Asians they have no ties to Africa and haven't for 30,000 years
They left Africa 30,000 years ago. They are not Black to me.
Even if you call them Black, AAs and Caribbean don't have the hair types, eye colors or aquiline features to come from them.
Melanesians look more like East Africans than West Africans.

well i don't care what YOU think. everyone else in the world will call them black.
Most people call them Asians.
now we're getting into semantics. everyone is african if you go back far enough. its possible that most african-americans are decended from the initial wave of black people that colonized the americas. another group is descended from that later wave that came from west africa willingly. and then a final and mostly likely smallest group is descended from the trans-atlantic slave trade.
the evidence right now weights heavily on there being a SIGNIFICANT native black population in the Americas before Columbus. whether most of those natives were those that came in the last 2000 years from West Africa or 20,000 years ago from the Pacific, is up for debate.
I personally don't think we have enough information to completely dismiss the possibility that MOST african americans are descended from that earlier wave of black natives.
no. they're called NEGRITOS. aka lil nikkas.
I posted this in another thread:no. they're called NEGRITOS. aka lil nikkas.
NO! I used to think it's possible, but we are too broken as a people. Just look at this thread:

Our people aren't even OPEN to considering anything thats not endorsed by masta. Most of our people are broken, defeated, and products of white supremacy, willie lynch syndrome, public school mis-education, media propaganda, and inferiority complex. Its frustrating. I give up.
I posted this in another thread:
@Poitier @Primetime21 are perfect examples of this. No matter how much evidence is presented, they will continue to talk in circles. In their minds, they cannot fathom blacks traveling to the americas before white masta messiah and asians. Its impossible to them. To them our history begins and ends as slaves from west africa.
Question for the crowd that thinks the majority of Afro people in the Americas descended from Africans who were here before the slave trade. I can provide census data on the Black population in cities like Mexico City, Buenos Aires, or Lima (census' which have historically always understated black population) over several decades during the time of slavery, I'm wondering if you guys have any sources that show even speculative data about the number of Africans in various countries in Central/South America prior to..lets say 1580, just so we can do a comparison.
