Clinton and Obama were wildly charismatic presidents who were far more popular with their partisans than the extraordinarily bland candidates the Republicans ran against them. Despite that, they pulled all of 49% and 51% of the vote, no big majority. And outside of their own charisma voters downballot proved they hated what the Democrats were giving them.

Clinton came in with 57 Democratic senators and left with 45. He came in with 258 House Democrats and left with 211. And his successor lost. It was one of the worst turnarounds in Democratic presidential history.

Until Obama of course. Obama came in with 59 Democratic senators and left with 46. He came in with 257 House Democrats and left with 188. And his successor lost to the most disliked challenger in US election history.


Imagine hemorrhaging double-digit senators and 50-70 House members during your presidency and believing the American public liked what you were giving them.







As if conservatives could ever carry an election by themselves? Trump was one of the most hated first-term presidents of ALL TIME, he had congressmen of his own fukking party refusing to support his reelection. Biden didn't even run on his own shyt, he barely campaigned, he just ran on the electorate hating Trump.

Democrats could cruise to wins in 2008 and 2020 because they were running on "We'll give you more than the Republican fukk-ups just did". But that's not running on your record. When your Democratic establishment has had to run on its record it's meant 6 consecutive elections where they've failed to win Congressional majorities and it's looking like #7 could be coming up.

Obviously they got more than enough votes in all those other elections. And then lost that majority not just during the "midterm elections" but in 1996 and 2012 too.

-get better at branding social programs that appeal to everyone. the potential for a post-Roe childcare bill is a HUGE opportunity. drop the pork, drop the far left bullshyt, and dont use the term socialism ever again

-dont bring back the covid fascism

-at least pretend like you want to bring gas prices down. stop being naive and fukkin stupid about how quickly gas can be replaced

- stop expecting america to be ok with this, and stop saying anyone who has an issue with it is a racist. shyt is embarrassing



- stop being the party who says men can get pregnant, and if you disagree, you're "transphobic"
