I know that now. But I only found that out in recent years. I always wondered why they never acknowledged The Joker killing Bruce's parents on "Batman: TAS"/DCAU.

Because Bruce Timm and his crew knew better than to cross the line Burton did. The screenwriter at the time caught so much flack for that shyt even though he was only doing what he was told

I picked it back up because it was on Netflix and I was bored. It ends on a high note. I was one of the haters and swore I wouldn't come back but I think the show redeemed itself near the end of the first season.

He was so good, I was kinda mad he got killed.

So obviously Jerome either inspires the Joker or I'm wondering if that WAS Gotham's version of the Joker..?

Either way, smart of them to do this because they were going to be hounded forever if they didn't give us a glimpse of the Joker. They tricked everyone and I think now everyone will get the hint that the Joker is a long ways from appearing, if ever.

Season has got off to a great start so far. I may be in the minority but I didn't like Fish last season, seemed too over the top for my liking.

She started out strong but by the middle of the season it seemed like the show had no idea what to do with her.

If I recall correctly (which I probably don't) she's the one who came out half way through and said she only wanted to do one season, so I'm guessing that's why they didn't know what to do with her.

They probably had an entire different plan for her based on her being a steady cast member.

IIRC, I think she only said she wasn't gonna be back next season, not that she wanted to do one season.
