Thanks man. I been driving for about a year
1. Get your CDL first, either Class A or B
2. Get the CDL manual, whether from the DMV or online... Study for the Hazmat and Tank section
3. Go to the DMV, pass the Hazmat and Tanker test
4. DMV would give you an 877 number to call, it would be used to set up fingerprinting and background check
5. DMV would give and application for an Hazmat Endorsement, to fill out and mail it to a certain address
6. You can schedule the fingerprinting over the phone with that number, or can do it online
7. Go to get a fingerprinting, I paid $145 (price may vary by state, I'm in NY)
8. Call back the 877 number, to see if the background check came back clean for you
9. When everything is straight, you go back to the DMV, so they can process and put your Hazmat and Tanker on your Driver's License
Getting the Tanker is pretty easy. Just study and pass the test at the DMV. Most of the info after #3 is solely for the Hazmat Endorsement
I'm working on getting a haz-mat endorsement. Got a job I can apply for that pays 480 a day brehs and I'm home every night.
Can you get haz-mat endorsement just starting out or do you need minimum experience?
I knew a breh who drives gas tankers bringing in 85k after taxes. Home every night. I would ask him but I don't have his contact.

Big respect for you trucker brehs, I've done delivery work in some dry goods vans but nothing to the level of a big rig, takes a lot of skill to be able to get to where you need to go safely and on time
