I was telling my drivers they had nothing to worry about for a good 10 yrs. these are robots they are still in a trial & error period.Tesla on autopilot had steered driver towards same barrier before fatal crash, NTSB says
But but but auto driving trucks are gonna take over the industry.
Not at this rate.

Why do you want to be a dispatcher?
Tired of the road?
Considering ABF since they are pretty close by where I live. I forgot you were a dispatcher in this thread. Could you tell me what it's like and what the hours are a week?
Feel free to PM
Not necessarily. I am tired of not being home daily though. I ran teams for awhile and made good money but me and my co-driver have separated and being a solo driver hasn't had the same opportunities and seems like more work for less money. I'm pretty much ready to just work 40 hours a week and go home. I'm not hurting for money really either so I feel like I'm making a better choice for the long run and my own sanity.
Driving is cool and I enjoyed seeing all the new places I've been but I would like to carve out my own space back at home and actually have time to enjoy my life.
You could deliver gasoline or do LTL if you wanna be home everyday
How are things working out? Have u crossed over to dispatching yet?Think I might be switching companies sooner than later but I want to become a dispatcher
Driving cement mixers now. Pretty laid back & easy.
Hey I know that new law applied for HOS & what not. I know it’s supposed to make things more convenient as far as drive time and when you do your drop & hooks it won’t count against you.
I’m still trying fully understand, but the drivers I work with approve of it. They just don’t like how their ELOGS aren’t keeping up.
