I hate shifting so much. Particularly the double clutching. I'll be feeling like when I get that auto.

@UpAndComing thanks for all the gems dropped in this thread. I saw the title of this thread for years but just now read through all of it cause i was bored with the current TLR threads. After seeing everything you and everyone else said i can't believe i avoided all this time reading it.

This would be even more perfect and align with me well if and when i'm able to go to Prairie View like i mentioned to you months ago. Having an engineering degree ina couple years while having a CDL license to work oil fields...all this in a state like Texas where the field is great for both(engineering and trucking)



The stories in here also yall really did make me realize that outside of the money being on the road you really will get thrown p*ssy like crazy lol.

After seeing this story on the coli last year though my goal is to be like this guy and become a millionaire ..but by the time im 40 .



















Now i just gotta figure out how to get a loyal conscious wife while this is going on but her not caring about me cheating while making that paper

I passed my CDL writtens so now I have a CLP. So relieved because this is the first thing I've accomplished in MONTHS. Life has been one big L and I talking about Cool J. I'm very grateful to those who believed in me.

I just checked out that "SUDU" website one of yall mentioned earlier in this thread and claimed how its diverse...look at their company representatives and there was like one black guy

yep these are the real certs

cdl licenses
hvac certifications
plumber certifications
carpentry


physical jobs with the same opportunity for freedom without the nerdy in a computer job :nerd:

I read that first as "Net Explorer", and was confused


But wow, yes it is a great time. I' plan to finish my Engineering degree soon. Make this money.

You got Texas, Eastern Ohio/West PA, North Dakota, and Colorado as the huge oil markets

The people graduating in the next 2-5 years would have a leg up
Plus those Baby Boomers are retiring/dying off. So many opens slots now

You're only gonna do it until you get your CDL. It's one of the test criteria. They make you double for whatever reason bc to them it counts as being in control of the vehicle. Once you learn to float without the clutch, it's game on

No, but my end game was to always own a truck because I'd rather get myself paid than some suit sitting on his ass
