Man this journey been rough.

From driving box trucks, going over the road making .10 cents a mile, getting seasonal driving jobs and going weeks without pay, getting shyt pay with no benefits just to get experience.
Two years and 3 months later I'm finally doing what I've been wanting to do. I'll be working for a car carrier, getting my shyt right and making boss moves for the future.

Congrats breh :salute:

Wouldn't it have been easier to start as a Tow Truck Wrecker driver then make a smooth transition into Car Hauling?

It would of helped.
But the job I'm at offers training.
The owner of the company is training me, and he's been doing this for 20 years.

Yeah I know one dude who used to do Car Hauling, made like 105k a year

It's like a best kept secret. Flatbed/Car Hauling/Heavy Hauling easily makes the most money in trucking :wow:

Where you gonna apply to first breh??

I put in for a company called Tidewater, but they are not hiring new drivers right now. So I put in a few more at other places to get somewhere and get a year or two, and later that type of one job won't evade me. Just trying to have a second job if I can.

I prefer to go through a company. It seems more direct and and I sign a contract and start making money immediately after.

I'm applying to CR England right now

They have been hitting me up like crazy to come to their school but as with everything I always research first. With potential jobs I like to go onto Indeed.com and read a ton reviews(Glassdoor is another good site for job reviews from former and current employees). The reviews I read for CR England were trash, and there were over a thousand of them.

edit: Never mind, just read what you ended up doing. Congrats!
