Soooo...Could y'all see Tua being available at the 18th pick if we have someone we love for the DL? Or do we have to play it safe and take him 5th if he's our guy?

My theory is Bengals will take Joe Burrow and Giants wont take a QB with so much invested in Daniel Jones. Redskins... With a new coach coming in i could see them saying fukk Dwayne Haskins and going in another direction at QB if Tua was healthy... but a new coach aint gonna drop his first 1st round pick on an injure, oft-injured QB who wont be ready to play for another year.

Lions ...I could see the Lions or Giants trading their picks to get more picks. But would anyone give up valuable picks to trade up for, again, an injured oft-injured QB who needs to sit a year?

So who is behind us needs a QB AND can afford to wait for him for a year?

1 Bengals 2-14 0.553
2 Redskins 3-13 0.502
3 Lions 3-12-1 0.506
4 Giants 4-12 0.473
5 Dolphins 5-11 0.484
6 Chargers 5-11 0.514
7 Panthers 5-11 0.549
8 Cardinals 5-10-1 0.529
9 Jaguars 6-10 0.484
10 Browns 6-10 0.533
11 Jets 7-9 0.473
12 Raiders 7-9 0.482
13 Colts 7-9 0.492
14 Buccaneers 7-9 0.500
15 Broncos 7-9 0.510
16 Falcons 7-9 0.545
17 Cowboys 8-8 0.479
18 Dolphins (f/PIT) 8-8 0.502
19 Raiders (f/CHI) 8-8 0.508
20 Jaguars (f/LAR) 9-7 0.535
21 Eagles 9-7 0.455
22 Bills 10-6 0.461
23 Patriots 12-4 0.469
24 Saints 13-3 0.486
25 Titans* 9-7 0.488
26 Vikings* 10-6 0.477
27 Dolphins (f/HOU)* 10-6 0.520
28 Seahawks* 11-5 0.531
29 Chiefs* 12-4 0.510
30 Packers* 13-3 0.453
31 49ers* 13-3 0.504
32 Ravens* 14-2 0.494
Chargers? Panthers? Raiders? Colts? Tampa? Broncos? Yeah might wanna play it safe and take Tua 5th if he's the pick :lupe:

definitely

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Redskins took him or traded the pick to someone who wants him. I'm sure Grier already has other targets should he not be there at 5. The one thing I don't wanna do is have to trade up to get him.

Highly doubt it. They have a chance to basically upgrade their defense to 49 ers level by getting Chasing Young. They already have an elite young d-line with Montez Sweat, and Chase Young..they would be stupid not to draft him.

I don't know if I truly want Tua, he is been injured every year.

He ain’t making it all the way to 18th. He might not make it to 5th. The only way he slides that far is if he injured himself again somehow

When you say "... slides that far..." are you talking about sliding to 5th or sliding to 18th.

What I'm afraid of is that everyone knows we want him badly so other teams that want him will be trying to trade up to get him with everything they got. I don't wanna have to sacrifice one of the extra picks we gathered only to have to trade up 2 spots to make sure we get him. But I'm afraid that's what may end up happening

What i fukking hate is that the media will keep playing with our feelings with rumors and speculations to drive us crazy up until the day after the draft. :sadcam: Let him put out a workout video and watch how they start stirring the pot saying Cincinnati is considering taking him with the #1 pick. THen shyt will have a ripple effect. @Da_Eggman will start back up with his depressing posts again (Take some Prozac and get some p*ssy, mother fukkas). Omar Kelly willstart his negative tweet binges again. @Sauce Dab will need to come in here and keep us sain.

I cant take the suspense, brehs. We're at a major crossroad for franchise's future for the next 2 years. I'm crumbling under pressure thinking about it.

If Tua is there you have to take him.

But I am somewhat interested in stashing someone like Kellen Mond out of Texas A&M or Jamie Newman out of Wake Forest in the later rounds if they come out in this draft. The league still undervalues mobile quarterbacks and while those guys are not big names, with proper coaching you would be surprised what can happen.

This is why O'Shea got fired.

I kinda like the Jordan Love kid and some feel like he'll be special but with the 5th pick... I have to see more vids on him. I'll save myself the stress and let Grier make the call. But if Tua isnt there at 5 and Jordan Love is there at one of our other 1s round picks like 18th (Steelers, pick) or even 24th (Houston's pick) what do you brehs think, @Sauce Dab @Mirin4rmfar , @Freddie.Cane @Mr. Brown , @Da_Eggman ?

Don’t think Love lasts to 18th. Colts been looking at him heavy. I like Love. I don’t give af about the interceptions, Dan Marino threw a million interceptions his junior and senior year at Pittsburgh
