imo, Justise low key playing like a p*ssy. If I'm him and see Otto Porter getting 100M+ no way am I passing the ball to Tyler Johnson or anyone else. As much as the coaching staff isn't doing him any favors I'd like for him to play completely fukkless one game.

PS: Jrich still trash, how you get 6 turnovers without being a primary ballhandler the whole night
Surefire way for him to end up in Spo's dog house.

Justise is really damn quick when he's attacking. :ohhh:
Dude! He is super fast this year. You can tell he worked on that during the summer.

Only person i can compare him to are young Wade or young Kenny Anderson. Thus why i say he needs the ball in his hands more as a playmaker. And sad to say i dont see that happening on this team as it's constructed. I firmly believe Riley will end up trading him for him to reach his full potential. Be like Jermaine ONeal on the Blazers in the late 90s; Too many vets at his position that do what he does just as well.

This team is a bunch of really good 2nd options

We have the structure of a team that has all the right pieces to surround a legit star. With what Kyrie is showing in Boston, we were dumb as hell for not trying to grab him with conviction.

I don't even think we need a Lebron/Westbrook/Durant. We need a Butler/Cousins/Dame level player and we'd make noise.

how did we look? couldnt watch the game. :francis:

Defensively, we were pretty damn astounding. We're an elite defensive team when we're motivated and healthy.

Keeping the Warriors under a 100 is amazing.

Our problems come with our offense. Without Dion, it becomes increasingly clear that we really need a guy who can create out of nothing. Dion is that guy for us and he's actually ok at it but he's not good enough to do consistently enough to be a "star".

Dragic was the only consistently reliable ball-handler. JJ and Olynyk are best served as tertiary playmakers who take advantage of mismatches or sleeping defenses.

Justise is a good ball-handler but struggles with his footwork and using his body to protect the ball/ward off defenders when driving.

Richardson/TJ aren't playmakers. They just aren't. Chalmers is Jason Kidd compared to them. I'd honestly put them in the Norris Cole level of vision. TJ needs to only have one job on offense and that's deciding whether he should try to score or give it to JJ to score.

Richardson's a more willing passer and he has better vision than TJ but he just doesn't understand the nuances of nba passing. He struggles with handoffs, entry passes to the post, bounce passes, skid passes, or how get guys the ball in the best rhythm to score. He needs to play like a sharpshooter on 2K. Just stand like 28 feet out, on that left wing, and shoot the three or attack the hard close out.

Bam is going to be VERY good. He's a very capable backup center, fights for every ball, rebounds bigger than he is, and has a knack for timing the ball. I'd actually like to see him be the backup center when Whiteside sits over Olynyk.

Don't think for a second that LeBron's camp had no influence on what kind of deal Cleveland was going to be willing to accept for Kyrie. We would've had to move Dragic, Whiteside, and multiple young players. Our roster composition would look nothing like Boston's. There's going to be better opportunities to trade for a star caliber player, I'd argue we're in even better position to do so
than we were prior to this summer's free agency

Team captains had a talk with Hassan today. I hope they gave him that work. My biggest issue with Hassan since he’s joined the team is his mental game when things aren’t going his way....you can’t be out there on the court and mentally checking out while your teammates are putting in effort. I don’t give a fukk if you have 2 points with 7 mins left in the game. Keep playing. You’re too good of a player to be falling apart like this when shyt goes left and I’m glad Spo benched him every time he does that shyt. You don’t want to give effort? Cool....play the bench.

I hope he really learns from this and listens to what the guys talked about today. You’re the teams best player...lead by example.

We didnt have anything CLE would have accepted for Kyrie. At least nothing that we'd be willing to part ways with. Boston had the assets and thats that. Im sure if we told them we'd give up WhiteSide, Dragic and a pick they would have been all over it

nikka too old to still be dealing with maturity issues :camby:
Too late. He already has his big contract so he has no reason to conform now.
We had no choice but to give him that contract despite the red flags :yeshrug:

Maybe John Wall is getting frustrated in Washington and we work out a deal
I hope we make a move for Jimmy or PG
PG, sure.

As much as i like both Wall and Butler, chill.

we need nikkas that can shoot for real when it comes down to it.

Bosh was our last seriously great shooter imo

nikkas midrange jumper was south beach ocean water splash status :mjcry:
and he could shoot the 3 :wow:

The bolded is what I was saying. If Kyrie played for any other team besides Cleveland then Riley might have been willing to sell most of the farm.
