Jrich turning 25 next year bro. His handle been trash for a long time. Very rarely does someone's handle improve in the NBA, even rarer at his age.

Livingston been posting up smaller dudes his whole career. Not a comparison.
I ain’t even comparing the two but it’s common sense if you got a small guy on you take advantage and it seem dudes never does it he just chills out behind the arc two much at times. Maybe I was hoping he would have learn something from Wade when he was here about working down low.

What is this team identity because sometimes I watch and I just don’t no
Are we playing inside side out or outside in
Are we uptempo fast break type team
We jack 3s but all our guys at best are streaky 3s point shooter
Not enough ball movement
Dragic is best playing uptempo but we don’t get out and run enough/get easy baskets
Our defense has been lackluster
We struggle taking care of the ball
We don’t get to the basket enough so we barely go to the line
Dragic disappears after half time
Him & Whiteside just don’t mix or have any real chemistry from the time Dragic has been here

TJ & JRich cannot run an offense yet they are hell bent on trying to make them both into Chalmers type
Richardson with his ability idk why he just sit behind the arc and doesn’t be aggressive going to the basket more and using he size against smaller guys.

Nah, we get to the basket but we get no foul calls.

He may be robotic and slow at times down low but I feel he can be a dominate presence down low if we had an offense and play makers to get him the ball in the right position.

Has Whiteside even shown off his midrange game as much this season yet beside those 3 I hardly see him taking those 15 footer he would make pretty frequent last season.

With all the stats and analytics saying 3s are better then 2s the game is all types of fukk up now
There is no reason if your not a 3 point shooting team to be jacking 25 plus 3s a game
Take the midrange shot take the 2 point and lock your ass in on defense and stop the other team
Passing up easy 2 points to take contestant 3s a lot of times is stupid.

Whiteside is only averaging 27 minutes which is crazy to me

With all the complaining I see about Winslow minutes he is only playing 5 less minutes then Whiteside at 23 minutes a game.

When Whiteside can play over 30 plus minutes he is a 20 plus 15 plus with ease

Our entire offense, during the 30-11 stretch, was pretty much fueled by 3 pointers, stamina, and high motor. We lived and died by the three, bro.

Lots of little reasons. One, J-Rich doesn't have really good vision, spatial awareness, or a strong base to establish position. He struggles to see screens, he struggles to direct the ball into tight crowds with passes or handles, etc.

Most guards that you see in the post tend to be guards with great vision or experienced guards with loads of wisdom. They can see doubles coming and when the space is shrinking, they can maintain a solid handle through physical contact, and they have great decision making.

J-Rich is a poor decision maker especially in hurried situations. He's not naturally composed enough i.e. Winslow or an unnaturally gifted scorer.

And Whiteside's been injured. He's probably being limited in minutes for that too and because we have Olynyk/Bam as backups probably makes Spo thinks it's better to bring him along slowly.

Note: With how dysfunctional NYK, I hope we make the biggest run in the world at Porzingis. What Wade and Kyrie have shown us that well-ran organizations are more important than you think. Wade admits he took a well-put together org for granted and Kristaps ain't been pleaded with NYK.

If Riley could do something magical

The bolded is what I was saying. If Kyrie played for any other team besides Cleveland then Riley might have been willing to sell most of the farm.
Dont think Riley would have let that get in his way if he saw a great deal in it for himself. I could be wrong but i just dont see it. I like to think he'd see what there is to gain for Miami Heat as opposed to trying to keep Lebron from getting more help

True, but what assets did we really have besides Goran and Hassan? We’ve seen what our rebounding and defense look like when he’s off the floor.
Exactly. My guess is he didnt wanna gut the team to get him oft-injured Kyrie who may be a star in this league but is not in the same caliber as the Durants and LeBrons of the league. If you're gonna gut a team in a trade it either has to be because you;re rebuilding or you're getting someone who can carry damn near any squad of scrubs to the playoffs.
And Kyrie is not that dude, @Primetime21 :yeshrug:

"that dude" dont exist in today's NBA, KD and LeBron both play on stacked teams they aren't carrying scrubs. A 25 year old ascending point guard is a good start to whatever it is you're trying to build.

uh... :patrice:
I like to think there are a few whom with the right set of scrubs/average players/role players, can drag a team into the playoffs. When i say scrubs i dont mean any random players. Just journeymen/role players who can do what they do as said player;s supporting cast. I could be smoking something but i like to think Anthony Davis, Durant, LeBron, maybe WestBrook, Harden and Curry and a few others can carry a team to an eighth if not 6th seed.
Those are the type of players you gut a team for. Kyrie hasnt shown me he's gut worthy yet. :francis:
