That is true but thats why us heat brehs figured if they were going to max him out that they would draw up plays to utilize his strengths and draw up plays for him instead of having him out being ignored like he waa still on a D league contract.

Whiteside’s outburst was about not being used. Games where he was cold before he still put up the same effort on defense cause he saw his team trying to feed him. He got a decent midrange shot so a high pick and pop play can get him a few points
Spo has barred Whiteside from flourishing like the way he limited Bosh during our championship run. We also witnessed Spo restricted Beasley from being an effective 6th man that could have been a gem from our bench in the 2014 season. This after Beasley was efficiently performing well. We shouldn't be surprised that Whiteside is being treated unfairly.

He's an ungodly talented passer with veteran-esque patience. His ability to lead his shooters/cutter and find them with a needle of space makes no sense. He's also an opportunistic scorer. The second you try to be aggressive and cut off his angles because he's been hitting passes, he'll score an easy dunk or attack the lane since he's so tall and athletic. That entire team is so long and tall that guys like 5!TJ are useless on defense.

shyt demoralizes you. Dude gets easy buckets the second you try to key in on a shooter.

Spo gonna have to play big. We are not talented enough anymore for the small ball blitz defense and none of our guards besides ellington are lights out 3pt shooters. Next game start babbit with whiteside and have jj at the 3 and J rich at the 2. Have bam and kelly at the 4/5 and attack the fukkin basket!!! Defense will lead to more fast break points. Play zone and stay on the shooters and let ben burn himself out trying to drop 50

The Beasley burial hurt me.......the argument back then was that Beasley was a defensive liability....like that stops people who can get buckets from being on the floor in the nba....fukk that decision till the end of time

People dont wanna say it...Spo has favorites....and when you are not in that part of the venn diagram then you might as well be traded

Spo has an old-coach mindset. Defensive intensity and high motor are required to see consistent minutes on the floor. Bosh was limited, mostly due to him sharing the floor with Lebron and Wade, but Spo just doesn't have respect for talented cats that need constant motivation to play with intensity, no matter how talented offensively. His belief is that intensity and defense is always a plus even if your offense ain't there.

The problem is the league has evolved to a point where firepower is so vast that most defenses simply can't up, no matter how good. It's hard to turn games into defensive slugfests when all you need is 3 minutes and 5-6 alternating possessions to balloon a lead 15-20 points because of how prevalent the three is. Miami can play excellent defense for 3 and a half quarters but a 3 minute lapse on defense plus a lack of true offensive firepower equals a lost game.

But nah forreal I hope they feed Hassan a lot and if dude is getting ripped left and right and getting travel calls then don't blame Spo on that

Look at the Pop and Aldridge situation
Pop came out and I said I was wrong pretty much and had to change his attitude and approach with him.
With how stubborn Spo is and he has Pat type of mentality I just don’t see him being able to do the same.

So watch we may go to him once or twice early but we will keep using him like Deandre Jordan.
Just play Hassan with Wade since Wade seem like the only dude on the team that has actually played with a big man before.

You already no if he gets stripped once or has one turnover he is getting benched anyway just like yesterday.
Spo has a short leach with him
