Someone with a mind for offense and who can make in game adjustments. I don’t know which assistants or coaches are gonna be available to hire or anything but shyt needs to change. To answer the other question, I'm not even sure if the willing passer thing is an issue since he gets benched quickly seemingly no matter what he does. According to this article and quotes in it, he’s spoken with the coaches twice this season about his playing time and apparently isn’t even getting an answer about why he gets pulled or anything like that.

Isn’t this like the third time this year something like this has happened too?
I doubt it because he knows you don’t gripe about shyt after a win. He might have said something like “it would be nice to be out there helping the team more but it’s a process”, but sitting the last 21 minutes of a game they lost by 1 is gonna get to anyone. That’s the scenario where the mentality becomes “I could’ve been the extra 2 points we needed to score or prevent”

You know people keep saying Hassan doesnt work because of small ball lineups around the NBA....
Funny enough Popovich runs Gasol/Aldridge lineups and neither of them are what are considered top defending big men...
Because size will never not matter in the NBA....and whats even sillier is why would you try to play to someone else's strength
Wade isnt a three point shooter but he does enough of the things that are in his wheelhouse that he continues to play
But the Hassan/Spo thing isnt really just about basketball I suspect....there has been an unease about their union for a few seasons and I suspect someone has to go

Spo ain't going nowhere and you hate to see them not be able to work it out. I still feel as though they're bringing him along slowly from injury so he doesn't fukk himself up again. shyt don't make no sense otherwise. fukk the regular season unleash him in the playoffs

I don't know why he's being a dikk one game back when he knows Spot won't play you over 20 minutes when you're fresh off an injury.
Spo doesn't respect traditional lineups. To him it's about chemistry first and then matchups. That approach of "start your 5 best players" has never been his thing.

I didn't see the whole game..i only caught the end of regulation and ot...
Eric and Tony said we were getting out hustled in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, tho...

I feel this was a Pat & Andy decision with some input from Spo but we couldn’t lose Whiteside, and TJ and this is before the Wade situation. The thing is Spo is always on his positionless/small ball basketball and he has won two title with it so he has no reason to change.
He always adapting to other teams and sometimes I would wish he could say screw it and your going to adapt to us. How many clear the air meeting can Whiteside and Spo have. Spo knows Whiteside attitude and wants to play yet this keeps on having time and time again.
At this point i don’t want Whiteside gone but I think for his own sanity and happiness overall he has to go because at this point Spo isn’t going to change his ways.
