Spo ain't going nowhere and you hate to see them not be able to work it out. I still feel as though they're bringing him along slowly from injury so he doesn't fukk himself up again. shyt don't make no sense otherwise. fukk the regular season unleash him in the playoffs
Whiteside has that if I’m playing then I don’t need to be on a minutes restriction type of mental

I feel this was a Pat & Andy decision with some input from Spo but we couldn’t lose Whiteside, and TJ and this is before the Wade situation. The thing is Spo is always on his positionless/small ball basketball and he has won two title with it so he has no reason to change.

He always adapting to other teams and sometimes I would wish he could say screw it and your going to adapt to us. How many clear the air meeting can Whiteside and Spo have. Spo knows Whiteside attitude and wants to play yet this keeps on having time and time again.

At this point i don’t want Whiteside gone but I think for his own sanity and happiness overall he has to go because at this point Spo isn’t going to change his ways.

Positionless bball was fine when they had guys like Bron and Bosh because they covered a lot of holes that wouldnt work conventionally..

Yea he won two titles but those two guys were absolute bball anomalies.

So the question is this....if he isnt playing Hassan....are his alternatives making up or superceding what Hassan is bringing on the floor?

If the answer to that isnt a clear resounding yes then the coach should have to rationalize and answer for the rotation choices?

The I won two titles cant hold up forever...or can it?

Bosh's and Bron's basketball IQ/versatility has spoiled Spo a bit.

People saw Bosh struggling to guard much bigger and stronger centers like Hubert or something but forgot about how much havoc he caused in the PnR for guards/wings like that block he got on Danny Green or Tony Parker.

Damn shame that my favorite PF was ahead of his time. Young Bosh would be one of the most sought after players in the league.

Exactly. Spo had to create an offense and defense around the strengths of his roster but i think he doesnt feel hassan is a superstar or a strength on some “just grab our rebounds nikka” :stopitslime:

They shouldve came up with some type of offensive play for him but white even said there are no plays for him and this dude isnt shaw dominant to just try to create on the fly and thats why he looks so erratic when he gets the ball. Its like a starving kid finding a big piece of chicken on the floor and coach tellin him put the shyt back on the plate

The whole needing to have a bunch of post moves thing is played out anyway.....Establishing good deep position in the lane reaps far more benefits than some footworks highlight package.

This is true. Whiteside seems kinda...weak when it comes to battling for position and not being moved. It might be because he knows he's not gonna get the ball so he doesn't see the point but I see guys like Robin Lopez, Steven Adams, and even JV etc. able to shove him off the block or box him out like he's not there.

He's just so long and a naturally talented rebounder that he's still able to snag boards.

I dunno if it's his core or his base strength.

Its def a weak base just look at his lower body. He doesnt have the thick legs and thighs or ass *pause* of a shaq or even hibbert where they back their man down to do a simple hook. He’s leaner than when he 1st signed with us which was worst for his game apparently because his reaction time isnt there or thinking. His moves are mechanical as if he would be 50lbs heavier

Whiteside is very top heavy . Low center of gravity and not much core strength.

Somebody called him an oversized Johnny Bravo and I could see it :mjlol:

John harbaugh is still coasting off that super bowl in February 2013 :francis:. As other people said in here, what the team was doing in 2011-14 was centered around guys we don’t have anymore who were incredibly uncommon and Spo likes to stick with something for a long time. For the first month or two of 2014-15 he still tried to run our 2012-14 offense with deng in place of LeBron. That sort of stubbornness is an issue when your roster changes. If your core team changes then your schemes and philosophies on both ends have to change too.
