slow it down

Eh, he's right. Winslow isn't a quick leaper with the ball in his hand. He doesn't get up like you want your athletic swingman to get up. Compare him to a cat like Jonathan Simmons, Jaylen Brown, or even trash guys like Oubre...Winslow just doesn't punch it like that. Hell, look at J-Rich jumps in traffic.

He needs to study Nash, Dragic, Kyrie, and Mike Conley. He needs to work on his off-foot layups, his floater, his push shot, and the like. You remember that game against the Lakers where he was doing damage with his in-between game? That spin move into the paint and hanging in the air?

:yeshrug: I'm not bashing him. It's the truth. He needs to get creative like Dragic does when he's in the paint and finish.

He has sufficient explosion to finish at the rim, it's in the bag.
Harden plays below the rim on purpose. Harden can be explosive when he wants to.
Justise plays below the rim because he doesn't have a choice
I dont believe so.

Not saying players that play below the rim like harden arent as explosive in their own way. Some people are greap leapers and some arent. You can usually tell by how high or how comfortably they can get up there WITHOUT A RUNNING START.

You're not gonna catch Harden or Winslow leaping and dunking off putbacks in a crowd very often. They are what i call one legged leapers. They need that open running space. One-leggers arent the type to be catching many lobs either. Mainly because the pass needs to be on point because unlike two-leggers, they cant really hang up there very long. There are a few exceptions of one-leggers that can like Josh Smith for example. But cats like Blake Griffin (two-legger) are more efficient in that scenario. Some are efficient at both but are better ones. Scottie Pippen and Lebron come to mind. But Lebron is the ultimate ambidextrous leaper. Heat fans that remember Harold Miner recall as great a leaper as he was he was more of a strictly two-legged leaper.

In Winslow's case i think his body type weighs him down kinda like Jamal Mashburn. Mashburn was explosive as fukk off two feet but his lower-body weighed him down. All Winslow can do is bulk up his upper body so it helps his upward momentum BUT im not sure it that wont impact his quickness which i love in his game

Can one of the clones take it upon themselves to update this GOAT gif, please?

br7oeby.gif

Dragic should fit in naturally in there since that's the same region. We need Hassan, D-Waiters, Justise and J-Rich in there. JJ and Olynik too
We need this updated , brehs.

Have
  1. Hassan replace 'Bron
  2. Winslow replace Wade
  3. Dragic replace Bosh
  4. Olynyk replace Miller
  5. JJ replace Battier
  6. Finally Bam replace Chalmers chilling in the background waiting for a chance to cut in and get his licks in
We could even have TJ or JRICH replace SPO. You PhotoSHop clones, get to work! :russ:

Winslow :whew:

But nah McGruder's a good guy, we've got plenty of bodies to hold down the fort until he gets back healthy. Other guys got to step up, seems like we can't go a year without one of these types of injuries
