How many third quarters have we had this season where we got outscored by 10+? How about 15+ or 20+? It feels like once every few games 2014-15 style. How the fukk does a ten year coach still have these meltdowns coming out of halftime? How does a team get outscored by 20 in just a span of 12 minutes?

Keep making Hassan expendable :youngsabo:
Everyone just love the shine new toy and I like Bam
Let get rid of a legit 7’0 with an 8’0 wingspan in his prime who is a double double who doesn’t even average 30 minutes cuz Spo just love small ball so much
I’m not giving him up just to move him for some picks without seeing him and Bam get a long look to see if they can play together
The hell with this small ball shyt and bring back bully ball
Spo needs an offensive coordinator in the worse way

Can we dead the blow it up and Spo is bad at coaching talk until next season?

1. The only valuable players we have are WS and Dragic. Even for them, the market isn't high for them, so a return wouldn't be super high.

2. The team isn't good enough, that's why we struggle on offense. Only 2-3 current coaches could field a consistently good offense with our team.

Now that we got that out of the way, expect more of this inconsistent play, and wait til the offseason to discuss possible roster moves.

The third quarter has been the thrust of our scoring droughts for almost a decade. The idiotic Spo has yet to create a sophisticated system that can optimize the players' talent. The small ball system and the personnel the Heat have is a mismatch from hell. Pat seriously needs to think about hire a new coach.

Spo has been making the same mistakes on offense for a decade. Can’t be ignoring that. How many years is it now that they look totally lost all third quarter now? He can’t coach with a lead. Players play hard for him and he knows defense, but he’s damn near useless when it comes to offense, rotations, sub patterns, and adjustments. A few years back they averaged 19 points per third quarter. That would project to 76 points per game. The worst offense in the league (a tanking 76ers team) averaged 93 for comparison. I think we average 20-21 per third quarter this year. Second half scoring droughts were a problem even with the big 3.

The common thread in every blowout loss has been one or both of Dragic/Waiters don't show up. We need a reliable upgrade, likely at the 2 spot, and no Wade's ass wasn't the answer. Ideally Waiters would be playing TJ's chuck it up role off the bench.

Every coach has flaws, Spo isn't the best, but he sure as hell ain't the problem.
Having elite talent w/ an average to slightly above average coach>>average to slightly above average talent with an elite coach.
