Hurt them with who? Hardcore GOP voters aren't like Democrats. They fall in line and will become the greatest fans of whomever they think will help get them to power. Scott is universally liked in DC. It will be hard for Dems to attack him in the same way as Haley/Noem. Finally, GOP voters (male or female) don't really trust women.
