Like others have said, what about the other popular channels?

The premiums are the least important channels to have a subscription to in the download era.

You can't be out here naked without ESPN, TNT, CNN, FX, AMC, Comedy Central, etc. If you got kids Disney & Nick are a must. And what about DVR service. I more addicted to the DVR than any channel package itself.

The fukking DVR is your problem? There are so many solutions to that... U don't need cable for that lol.

And 20 bucks a month just for HBO is damn expensive. I get HBO, basic cable, and internet from Comcast for 40 (I dont use the cable, i have direcTv).

There's not a single stand alone channel worth paying for.

In TheColiseum everybody htes ESPN, now people wnat to buy a stand alone ESPN channel.

And not only that, this is The Arcadium, not the sports section.

Got our Google fiber installed today. very quick very simple. Honestly the speed isn't that noticeably different when when web surfing. I am currently downloading a 1.5 gig program and its downloading a lot faster than I anticipated. Seems like it will take 10 mins to download the file.

That's just one of many. I have Direct TV, but what's the cost looking like after I add up all of the channels I really want. Channels like ESPN, TNT, Time Warner Sports, Fox Sports, Nick, etc... gonna rape Google fiber.

Whats your easy solution of me having hundreds of hours of HD programs stored and easily accessible to me? No longer being a slave to live sporting events? I damn sure aint paying $300-$400 for a TiVo plus $15 a month. To that end, how in the hell is TiVo still in business?

Makes sense, I don't know a single person that has or even would consider getting a TiVo.
