Casino is nice (credit to all Pesci scenes) but Goodfellas is great
Casino is more rewatchable to kick back to and light one/ late night chill to. You got the atmosphere of Vegas and eye candy of Sharon Stone character. Also it is a little shorter than Goodfellas.
You got the enterprising ambition of going out to the desert
Goodfellas is damn near a more of a period piece than gangster flick
And in Goodfellas you got the protagonist as degenerate cokehead who sntches on everybody at the end. Something is not very entertaining about that.
Casino is more in line with modern Hip Hop culture,aesthetic/sensibilities.
Casino nobody gets locked,they are getting it in, moving and shaking through out.
You can see why guys like Nas, French Montana take from Casino in there cover art and music videos, just the fly shyt through out Casino.

Casino is one of the greatest films ever made and it's still not on the level of Goodfellas. That's what we're talking about here. 2 classics.

I could not more disagree with how u described these two. I’m literally finishing watching goodfellas on Netflix and seen it easily 20 plus times. It is the PERFECT chill night vibe.
love casino as well. Like so many said both classics. But goodfellas is just THAT MOVIE!!! Period movie my ass sorry
I'll say this they are both movies to actually own together and you can throw either on at night.
Probably the two of the most late night watchable and chill movies in existence

I saw The Irishman again the other night and while it's an excellent film it's not on the level of Goodfellas and Casino. But it's still better than most films. That's what we are grading on here the Scorsese curve.. most directors will never have a movie as good as Scorsese's mid
