Subs said Levante is affiliated when those brothers were talking about him. So I guess Levante is anotther Camorrista but in alliance with the Sicilian mafia.

I think just affiliated with Cosa Nostra/Sicilians according to the subs. They also had some involvement with Albanians. Levante means 'East' :yeshrug:
Ok that's what I thought too. I was just a little confused by the change of scenery. Initially I thought Gennaro moved to the South and linked up with the Sicilians but it looks like he's just living on the outskirts of Naples now and Levante lives nearby and is affiliated with the Sicilians.

I was worried about this show without Ciro da gawd but the first two episodes showed promise. Levante is very old school, you can tell he's going to bump heads with Patrizia. I'm looking forward to the demise of the hipsters from Forcella.

Ep.3 had a nice conclusion but it was mostly boring to me. I understand it's to build on Patrizia but damn, I almost felt like skipping a lot of the scenes.

Ep.4 tho :damn:
they tried to rainmake Genny like he was Stringer Bell. :mjlol:
Yep I thought the same thing - I was :leon: at the ending but it felt like a wasted episode

The Patri sex scene edited with the kids doing coke with them girls in the bathroom and the corny music took me out the ep - felt off
Ep 4 more than made up for it though - Gomorrah classic :wow:

Genna doing puzzles with old girl’s mum had me :deadrose:

Gaetano running over old girl and then backing the car over her like three times :damn:

Episode 3 was basically just character building for Patrizia and that Mickey dude from the Lavante Family. Was a pretty filler episode but ended dope. They've killed off so many characters that they have to build some new(er) ones up. The Genny plotlines have all been serious heat so far and he didn't even appear in Episode 3.

Now, Episode 4 was fukking DOPE! Loving to finally hear a bit of English spoken and I love how Genny only said like 1 phrase in English and it was only when it was absolutely necessary. If any of you have European friends they can tell you finesse moves like that happen ALL THE TIME. My Albanian friends can't purchase property in London b/c as soon as the sellers see they're Albanian they jack the price up by 50%+, so they all have to live in the outskirts or rural areas. Brits have been doing this to Russians for decades too. I had an idea the outcome would be similar to this (like that John Leguizamo movie from back in the day 'Empire'), I just thought they'd stretch it over multiple episodes...the writing was concise enough to resolve it all in one Episode on some Sopranos shyt.

As soon as they said they were going to mail over the paperwork I knew what they’re game was :martin:

I glad they showed that Genna was two steps ahead of them though because it would’ve been disappointing if he got Stringer Bell’ed - post Honduras Genny is one of the smartest characters in the show so getting finessed like that wouldn’t have made sense

episode 1

I was like "Genny's got some powerful relatives who we haven't really heard so far? What's up with that bird, who are these guys? :ehh:

Then the scene when they attempt a hit on Capaccio giving no fukks about innocent life :wow:
Then it was said they are connected to Sicilia. Now we know these dudes are serious.
