That was a fukked up finale! Next season is going to be a blood bath and some depressing shyt.

Breh, it's rare that a show makes you hate some characters and then you end up feeling sorry for them when they finally get thrown in the bushes. When Ciro and Patrizia clutched everything in episode 11 I was :blessed:

Then this dude Valerio flipped the script on everything like you said and is going to be a major problem. :damn: Thought for sure Genny was gonna get clapped up and thrown over board for the shyt he did to Enzo's sister. Didn't think they'd body Ciro so soon, imo he's the iconic character of Gomorra (like Vic Mackey and Tony Soprano were to their own shows) and I thought they'd save his death for the very end of the series.

I knew Genny was staying when he said on his Instagram there is going to be a new season.

I warmed to Ciro's character too.

Yeah, I knew Valerio would cause issues because he is smart and he acts like a leader. Enzo acts like a soldier, but because of the influence he has over his group he is the default leader

Killing Ciro was the logical and correct move on the creators' part. I love the show but this season it was getting too Shakesperean with the relationship between Ciro and Genny. Ciro put Genny in a coma, killed both of Genny's parents(Pietro at Genny's behest), Pietro killed Ciro's daughter, it was all a huge clusterfukk. Them having some sort of enlightened brotherhood based on suffering and understanding each other is too unrealistic. The original premise of the show was mobsters doing mobster things.

The show being good depends on it walking a fine line between a pure gangster show with non-stop shootouts/scheming and the 'higher' aspects like studying the human condition. It's not Sons of Anarchy but it's not The Sopranos either. So far they've been able to keep it together.

All in all it was a very good season.

ahhhh this season was too good. I'mma be fiendin for season 4
I literally raised my arms in victory when Analisa got smoked by Patrizia. I hated that bytch. Patri gonna run Secondligliano now...either that or be Genny's new consigliere...maybe both.
RIP Ciro...I wanted him to die for most of season 1 and all of season 2...but they built him back up as a babyface for season 3. I was pretty fukked up over his death...The show is gonna be missing alot without him

luckily we got Blue Blood da Gawd...he looked straight demonic at the end. What a scene ...when you realize the music's not playing anymore.

Its gonna be an interesting dynamic between him and Genny next season. Also between him and vocabulary...might be a bit of a power struggle between them two. Can't wait.

Genny stay fukkin' up, early season 4 prediction from me is we will see if his relationship with his babymoms end up like Ciro's and his. Her ass wanted him to become a King and now she wants him to get out of the game. To quote the great poet, Jerry Stiller, "bytches be crazy, you know that". :manny:

Wondering how the show will go wihout him, he was an iconic character of this show :to:
I liked how they built up a new plot with these new characters and an other part of the city although it's not as easily recognizable as Secondigliano
I liked how Giuseppe got killed though.
Enzo and his guys were a nice addition to the story
but again... not sure how the show will sustain without Ciro, we will see though

Enzo and the Cattenaccis got themselves some serious enemy in Genny and I guess Particia joins Genny's side too, there will be a big war next season I think

crazy to think about how many important character died already... Imma, Pietro, Ciro, Malammore, Conte, O'Track, O'Principe, Bomber, the third guy next to Bomber and Track, Ciro's wife, Ciro's daughter, Gypsy, Rosario, Scianel, Giuseppe, Wizard...
and surely I am forgetting some...
they dropping like flies :to: GOT death rate ain't shyt compared to this :ld: but it's only realistic this way so I can't complain
Genny is the only character who was known and important in season 1 and still lives :whew: a dinosaur. But even if we include season 2 to that we only can add Marinella, Patrizia and Azurra
So out of all the characters who were relevant in season 1 and 2 only 4 made it out by the end of season 3. and only 2 of them are in the game like that so only 2 who actively shape the plot. harsh
