Based on the same book by Robert Saviano, who helped produce this series. 12 1hour episodes.

And here's a slightly different trailer, with some Italian rap thrown in

I have to say it looks really good. The acting is top notch. And unlike The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire, it seems there's going to be very little family/existential shyt like Margaret fukkery or Carmella's infatuation with Furio.
The bulk of the story is about two Camorra families beefing. Lots of scheming and lots of shooting.:blessed:

I love the show for avoiding alot of that family drama and existential shyt. fukk do I ever hate that about American prestige TV, that need to be avante garde.

Episode 3 and 4 dropped, check out the reddit page. There's a new character that's giving strong Toto Riina or El Chapo vibes. A nobody, short stature, everyone underestimates him at first but he's cunning and has balls of steel.
That actor starred in the OG gomorra movie back in 08.

Finished it today. Gennaro deserved a more miserable death but in the end he died with nothing. The ending was satisfactory, they’ve done too much to ride off into the sunset. The relationship between Genny and Ciro was just twisted. The people who watched this all the way through are probably asking, what the fukk was the point? Nothing, absolutely nothing. This lifestyle brings nothing but death, destruction, and tragedy to countless lives. Nothing is off limits as you’ve seen through out the series. Men, women, and children are liable to get killed in the crossfire. Families decimated. And the cycle just repeats itself with each generation.

big facts, there were no good people in this series at all the game made everyone into a demon, and it had to be that way or they would have died much sooner.

bro the mafia deaths are still playing out here in Canada every few years you get a spate of mafia related murders in Toronto, Hamilton, and a few other cities. The ebb and flow of power necessitates murders in that twisted game of cocaine trafficking and illegal gambling.

I was really upset with the end of S4. I was team Patrizia all the way but she let me down.
what could she really have done, she played it a smart as she could but ultimately the game has no give, even seemingly cooperating even if you didn't will get you clipped unless you a grimeier person than your would-be killers.
