So i am thinking of going back to College in 2013. Not for a degree or anything, it would be a technical school that offers job placement after you graduate.

I am going to go back for a 6 months fast track certificate in web development

or

a two year diploma in Film & Video production, I've always wanted to be an editor.


I have been struggling to get a decent job/education since i was about 20. I can't seem to pull it together. Should i go back or just move on and self teach myself. I don't want to be the old ass dude on campus....I feel like i should just move on from trying to play the game with schools and just teach/grind myself. Thoughts?

Your still young, and if you think going back to school will improve your situation, then do it.

Do the web development and do it as soon as possible. Once you have that job, you can always go back to school for that two year degree.

As long as its a program that leads to a job...go do that shyt right now. Ure not that old, lets get serious. Fukk that "old guy on a campus" thing. U know how many people never go back, and are working shytty jobs for low wages bc they procrastinated and didnt want to be the "old guy"? A lot

Might just do the web developer thing, then self teach myself video editing. Both Adobe and Final Cut(Apple) offer certificates that you can test for.

maybe it depends on the campus, but going to college at 29 isn't going to be like going into a Chuck E. Cheese just trying to get a couple games of Marvel vs. Capcom in.

2 years at a community college could be a rewarding experience.

nobody cares about that "old man on campus" shyt, and if they do, who gives a shyt what they think?? being judgmental like that sheds far more negative light on the person doing the judging than it does on the judge, so fukk that fakkit.

before you go, make sure the school/program is legit... don't just listen to what the people at the school say, research it. don't get suckered into some bullshyt "you'll have a career in no time!" pitch. sounds like you might already know that it's legit, though.
