You're right, I don't know. I'm just reporting what some people claim to believe. I don't know if this entity is good or not, and I'm not sure if it makes sense that something can be perfectly moral.
Yea Im not sure what perfectly moral means so they that say such would have to explain what they mean I guess.
Then no, I don't think it's reasonable.
So back to the parent/child/car analogy. You also believe that the parents are unreasonable to take back the car?
If I actively search for god, and can't be sure I've found it, whether or not I go to heaven or hell is no longer up to me. If I die today an atheist, I have committed the one unforgivable sin, and cannot choose to go to heaven anyway.
You chose not to by being atheist.
And why am I subjected to eternal torment?
You CHOSE to be atheist lol
Because I've committed the heinous crime of using the brain god supposedly gave me, and refused to blindly accept a religion I was forced to believe. God knows what would convince me, and could manifest in a way that would prove to me his existence, but chooses not to. Why am I responsible for his actions?
I've never read in the bible that using your brain is a "heinous crime" especially since its required to understand what exactly God wants from you. Nonetheless if God wanted you to just believe, then you wouldnt be given free will. Instead, you DO have free will thus have to use it to either accept or reject God Almighty.
"Why am I responsible for his actions?"
You're responsible for YOUR actions which consists of choices that YOU have to make. Of course you can interchange YOU with my name/me because this applies to me as well.
