You went from having Mass Effect as an exclusive to Sea of Theives. They don't care about games anymore, that is not Microsoft's focus at this point.
Sony Console/ Nintendo Console/ PC it is for next gen.
They even had Far Cry as an exclusive then lost it in the sequel
Also the Splinter Cell reboot on the 360 was exclusive

Zelda didn't have an amazing, cinematic story?
Amazing? no, but it's there, there's like over 18 cinematic cutscenes that shows Zelda's growth/insecurities/bond with the champions/her father/failures/why she appointed link as her knight/and awakening. That's isn't even including your in game story progression with the new champions.
The game just wasn't linear at all, that's it.
