I’d kinda wish it was more on rails, some of this side content is so good it should have honestly been incorporated into the main quest. Not gonna spoil anything but theres some later sidequest that tell you al ot about some characters and lore the main questline doesn’t touch upon

I just fought the Drake after fighting a Phantom all while doing the Freyr crystal side question in Alfheim

The side quests have been amazing for sure.

This game def makes the story of 2018 a lot better to me with the added context. You can tell both games were written or at least outlined together, cause i haven’t seen or felt any real contradictions between both games.

Its odd that he walks around with that huge gash in his stomach the entire game like he could easily have healed himself and closed it up lol

A little tip for the brehs do the training at Nelfheim. You can level up your skill moves for your blades and axe with worrying about dying and getting your combat timing better.
