for those of us who want to see genuine change in our communities it seems like an uphill battle. Have any of you though of just giving up on black America? It seems ignorance has been in embraced and we've allowed our youth to be swallowed in a culture that celebrates countless social ills. It seems impossible to change the tide. Are we a lost cause? Is our existence in the country a living? A testament of what happens when a people adopt a culture that fosters self destruction?

How many have just stop caring all together. Let nikkas be nikkas.

Instead of giving up my criticism becomes more blunt and harder when it comes to talking about the self destructive behavior that keeps us from progressing.

Until most of us stop being followers and become individual leaders by thinkin like Malcolm X there won't be any change.

We have to look at ourselves as individual leaders and carry ourselves that way 24 /7 .

Somebody who thinks of themselves as a nikka instead of thinking of themselves as a King will find themselves right where a nikka usually ends up which is the unemployment line, jail or dead

First of all I don't know any group that accepts being called a racial slur. Vast majority of blacks say it when around their people on some togetherness vibe not like some disrespectful stuff. Many before have said it and ill add to the list man "if your scared say your scarred" . Also non blacks saying that to you lets me know what type of dude you are they even feel comfortable talking that disingenuous garbage to you honestly. You also sound like you want to be patted on the head by these cats but you won't be the first nor last to be in that line but it will do you no good in the long run.
