The idea that we drop players of yesteryear in today’s game and refuse to consider they would have to be allowed to evolve like the very same modern day players we compare them to makes these convos no fun
you call shooting more 3s evolving?

I’m just speaking from an athletic standpoint as well as science

You want to compare nikkax with sports science at their disposal to generations past that managed with what they had. nikkax want Bron & KD to go back in time as the versions of themselves well versed in sports medicine & nutrition but can’t handle the idea of a enhanced version of Mike running around current day

Also you yourself @NYC Rebel

Suggesting that Pip struggled to guard “second tier” SFs is suggesting he wouldn’t be able to really guard First tier SFs of this era. Again that’s why he mentioned Grant hill

Both you and Gilbert know what y’all doing with this passive aggressive shyt
I say what i say. Who the fukk is going to hurt me? :mjlol:

The SF position is my favorite position and I long said it fell off after Bird, Nique, and Bernard left. shyt...we are seeing a drought at the SG position now. shyt comes in waves and Pip didnt have to face the night in night out scorers that played SF in the 80s with Aguirre, English, Dantley, IceMan, Worthy, Nique, King, Dr. J, Bird. It wasnt the same bruh. He would have had it harder. shyt...even one knee Bernard was giving teams the biz

Then flat out say it, cause we all know what you saying :stopitslime: and saying Scottie wouldn’t be elite today, by what terms? In 2030 when the game has evolved even further, imagine saying Kawhi and Draymond green are so so defenders cause they weren’t guarding players of whatever skill set the players in 2030 would have :stopitslime:and Pippen guarded the PG and SG as well. Rodman(cause Gilbert mentioned him too) also went against prime motherfukking Shaq and other elite Bigs in the most elite era of Big men. :stopitslime:

grant hill would've been without a doubt a first ballot HOF and one of the 20 best players ever had he not gotten hurt so I don't get why he cited grant hill for his hit piece.

great offense is always going to beat great defense no matter what.

The point was Grant Hill was the first player of his kind, now its a bunch of nikkaz like this

Didn’t Grant end up a first ballot HOF anyway?

first player of his kind? :mjlol: google julius ervin, bernard king, mark agguirre, adrian dantley, nique. there were PLENTY of cats that had similiar games skillsets as grant did decades before he came into the league.
