Last week's winner, animated prehistoric adventure "The Croods," slipped to second place with $26.5 million in North America (the United States and Canada). "Tyler Perry's Temptation" landed in the No. 3 slot with $22.3 million.
"G.I. Joe" opened Wednesday evening to get a jump on the Easter holiday weekend. The cumulative box office after Sunday is estimated at $51.7 million. In international markets, the movie racked up $80.3 million, for a global haul of $132 million.
"The result is as spectacular as the look of the movie," said Don Harris, president of domestic theatrical distribution at Paramount Pictures.
"We couldn't be happier with the result in terms of both the domestic and international box office and the response from movie goers."

I actually went to watch this shyt, I was supporting The Rock on this because the 1st Movie wasn't actually that Bad IMO. I'm not even a Fan of G.I. Joesephs but when the 1st 1 came out, I shat all over it with Ease like I did with Transformers. Only difference is that Transformers spun me the fukk around with my Personal Opinion, had me watching the Entire Trilogy like
and now I know for a Fact that I don't like those Joes.

plus, the character roadblock gets top billing.

i feel blessed to see this day.

you could not ask for anything better if you are a black kid from my gen.

most of the people who review films..
really do not know shyt about the genre's they are reviewing.
i should know because i was one of the best rotten tomatoes reviewers.
i stopped because nobody else reviewed movies really well.
or offered any actual knowledge or know how about the genre's or content of the shyt they reviewed.

9.50 matinee roundme,11.50 night movies...i aintpayin to see this, or reallymany movies these days....ill catchit on it on dvd ina few weeks
