This belongs in the Arcadium :mjpls:, BUT, in the interest of discussion...

It's a fun action movie, breh, of course the critics aren't going to like it. I'm a lifetime Joe fan and I think they did well with this one. Blows the first one away and has me looking forward to the third. Played pretty well with the afternoon crowd I saw it with yesterday.

And you forgot to mention the audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes is 76%.

So fukking what, movie and video game "analysts" or whatever you wanna call them give out the worst fukking advice on what to play/watch :scusthov: . Listen to the people 76% :obama:

But honestly, you're a grown ass adult, if the movie interests you, check it out, if it doesn't, don't. Why so many people rely on unreliable sources to dictate what they play and watch is :mindblown:

Besides, I actually enjoyed the first one and that's at 34% :manny:

The Chaperone - Rotten Tomatoes 29%, really?! It's not a bad movie
That's What I Am - Rotten Tomatoes maybe their best to date, only 60%
Life - Rotten Tomatoes 50?! :pacspit:

See what I mean, I can keep going...

I see what you mean, and that's why I said i`ll have to wait for DVD.

I don't always look to critics to check for something, but it does matter somewhat when it comes to paying over $20 to watch it when I could watch it for $1.50 in 3 months

I didn't see the first one, I actually hate action movies. I thought if it got some good ratings maybe it`ll at least be good for an action movie, but if you're an action movie getting in the %30 range it makes me think this is the same old tired stuff.

Matinee is 7-7.50; 5-5.50 depending on the time of day/theater...what kind of prices do they have around your way?

That Fast Five was pretty good.

I thought Bruce, Rock and Tatum would make a good action movie.

I think his non kid movies are great. His wrestling may be :trash: but dude is pretty much following Arnold's footsteps, I can't hate on that at all.

Certain genre have a harder/easier time with critics. Action and Horror have a very tough time with critics because they're so over saturated with trash.

International/Art House films get a pass damn near every time regardless.

How do you hate action films? You hate Die Hard 1-3? MI 4? Skyfall?......No Holds Barred? :mjpls:

I find them to be redundant and mindless. I`d rather play an action video game than watch an action movie.

I was always more of a comedy guy, I love horror flicks and sci-fi stuff too, when done right.

You're right about those genres always having a hard time with critics, I just got excited because it started off with a lot of good reviews and got me excited.

Reviews can be real deceiving, sometimes they put you onto something good, but then other times you trust them and go see Zero Dark Thirty and want to torture yourself for doing so.
